Not all Konjac Sponges are made equal.

I am so passionate about our Konjac Sponges... I just love them so much and that is why I am no longer retired but a working woman once again! Frequently both friends and customers ask why did I choose this product over others? There were plenty to choose from, probably hundreds of imitations, but I stopped at about fifty. Buying sponges online from across the world and I kept coming back to this handmade Konjac Sponge from Korea. Many that I tried were from China, less expensive off course, but the quality was not there.
So, what is the difference? The first and most obvious difference is colour. Many are very colourful and bright while our Konjac Sponges have more natural colour tones. This is because imitations are possibly enhanced with food or other artificial colours, and while they may look pretty you will definitely not feel and see the same results on your skin.
The second obvious difference is texture and size. When you look at our original Konjac Sponges in water, the water is absorbed in under 1 minute and is ready for use. They are strong and will not tear easily. Imitations can take up to 4 minutes to absorb water. As such they are harder on the skin and can at times tear after just one use. In addition, if you soak the imitation sponges for long periods (as we do at Expo's) the artificial colours will run out into the water.
Throughout my research into various Konjac sponges I've found the key difference, and unique to the Konjac Sponge Company products, is that they are produced using 100% food grade Konjac with pure water, no preservatives, no colour and no chemicals. In my opinion, using the food grade Konjac to produce the facial and body sponges lifts the product above all others and definitely lasts much longer than inferior sponges.
Our Konjac Sponges are handmade and best of all after just one use you can feel and see the difference in your skin!
